Not complaining about a free and attractive template, but as notes for the paid versions.
1) I found that the guides didn’t really match up to the supported aspect ratios, even after specifically cropping images to one of the ratios. Warping aside, the far frames just didn’t fit as well as closer frames or in the same spot. Not a deal breaker, nothing is forcing you into those guides, but just a point worth knowing.
2) Other galleries use smart objects; you update a file for each art spot and it populates into a PSD. This format will be a LOT of work since the images have to be manually populated and warped for each spot. On the other hand, this may be a trade off for having flexible aspect ratios.
3) Not a criticism, but it would be nice if there was a way or instructions to make the nice lighting look like it is hitting the artwork (maybe another screen or something?)
Overall, a full version of this gallery would probably be a LOT of work but it does look quite nice when it’s done. My rating is for what I anticipate the pros/cons of a full gallery based on this demo.
